Tonight is the first of two showdowns for both the Sixers and the Warriors this season.

Curry played in the last two games. During the Warriors’ December 28 game with the Phoenix Suns, Curry played 35 minutes. He released 22 points on 41% shooting from the field. He also got six boards and six dimes. Curry contributed to the warriors getting a four point victory over the suns.

Two days later the Warriors faced the Cleveland Cavaliers in their game. Curry really was not accurate during the shooting spree as he compiled field goals in 29 shooting attempts which amounted to only a 29% shooting form. Kobe Bryant had 11 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists by the end of the game.

Nevertheless, Curry has a scoring average of 22, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal and 1 block in 26 games this season. The Warriors’ record is 4-2 this year in the six games that Curry has not played. He will not have to worry about that in their Thursday night’s game against Philadelphia.

Going into the night, the Warriors have won 16 of their 32 games; however, they have only managed three wins in their last ten games. However, Sixers are at 13-18 position instead. Although they have claimed victory in seven of their last ten games, a four-game winning plan was lost in Sacramento on Wednesday.
